This is the report of the conference made by the Microsoft Regional Director, Mr Bernard Fedotoff that took place on Friday, November 26, 2010 in the Microsoft Innovation Center.
Within the content of my MSP activities and as an intern in the MIC, I was invited such as a couple of my MSP friends to attend this important event in the MIC. The conference dealt with the "Project Management" and here is the planning of the day:
Mrs. Leila Charfi started by presenting the Microsoft Innovation Center and its activities to the audience.
Then Mr. Bernard Fedotoff took the floor and he started the conference by asking some provoking questions to the audience such as:
- Should we save the soldier "Project Manager"?
- Is the "Project manager" dead?
- Is Time a completeness indicator?
- Do we need Gant anymore?
- Would it be exciting to be a developper if there are no more bugs?
- Is there really a complete project specification?
To answer all these questions, Mr Fedotoff explained the importance of the agile modeling. He dealt with many subjects:
- What is ALM
- The Bases of ALM
- ALM: Requirements capturing
- ALM Roles and Responsiblities
- ALM: Tooling: Visual Studio 2010 & TFS 2010
- Cloud Computing
- True Life
It was a very instructive day and I learned a lot about "Project Management" and the "Agile Modeling" and I can't wait for the next conference in the MIC.
P.S: I will sahre with you the content of the presentation made by Mr. Fedotoff once i recieve it.
In the mean time you can check Mr. Bernard Fedotoff Blog for more information about the project management.
